1. Area of applicability
(1)
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all of the seminars executed by the campus GmbH and billed bythe campus GmbH.

(2) Seminar/seminar times
Standard seminars
First day: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Following days: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Course bundles
First day: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Following days: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

fast tracks
First day: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Following days: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Shortened courses
e.g. because of lack of participants)
First day: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Following days: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Shorten week (because of holidays):
First day: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Following days: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

(3) It is at the discretion of the campus GmbH to determine whether a seminar from and/or at the campus is to be offered as a classroom training or as a virtualclassroom training. The site of execution may also change, which equally applies for guaranteed dates, marked with an . For a guaranteed date, as described above, the execution shall be guaranteed by the campus GmbH.

2. Registration
A written registration is required for all seminars; we cannot accept registrations by phone. Since the number of participants is limited for all seminars for learning purposes, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The seminar contract comes into being through the written booking confirmation from the campus GmbH.

3. Protection of privacy
(1) In view of the federal regulations for the protection of privacy, we notify you here that your personal information is only saved and used for completion of the contract.

(2) Your business contact information is used by the organizers for marketing purposes for sending brochures, programs, seminar information and special offers and content from the organizers.

(3) You can withdraw your permission for the use, processing and transfer of your data for marketing purposes at any time by sending us a written notification. After we receive your revocation or withdrawal of permission, the operator will immediately refrain from using the involved data to process it for marketing purposes or from sending advertising material.

4. Seminar cancellation/postponement of dates
(1) Cancellation by the customer
Cancellation by the customer for seminars are free if this is done in writing to the campus GmbH 21 calendar days or more before the beginning of the seminar. If a seminar is cancelled less than 20 calendar days before the beginning of the seminar, the campus GmbH will bill 50% of the course fee. Separate cancellation conditions shall apply to discounted prices, such as special or sale prices. Please find information regarding this on our website www.thecampus.de. In the event of cancellation on the first day of training or a no-show, the full amount of the seminarfee shall be paid. The customer is entitled to have another person take his/her place in the booked seminar. the campus GmbH, however, can only apply this entitlement to the seminars which are executed by the campus GmbH itself.

(2) Cancellation by the campus GmbH
the campus GmbH reserves the right to cancel or postpone a seminar before the beginning of the seminar, in particular, should events occur which would make it technically or financially unfeasible for the campus GmbH to provide the service. The affected participants are to be directly informed. Further claims are excluded.

(3) Cancellation of seminars which are mediated by the campus GmbH
Should the campus GmbH place a participant with another cooperation partner, the General Terms and Conditions of the campus GmbH shall not exclusively apply. In this case, the terms and conditions of the partner are to be applied in cases of cancellation by the customer as well as cancellation by the partner.

5. Customer satisfaction
If a customer is not satisfied with the quality of one of the open seminars executed by the campus GmbH one time, he/she shall have the possibility to discontinue the seminar by the noonday break of the first day of the seminar. The seminar may be attended one more time at a later point in time and/or at another campus site atno extra charge. The seminar leader is to be informed of the reasons for the discontinuation. The seminar will also be billed in cases of the guarantee to repeat and must be paid. No additional billing shall occur for participation in the replacement seminar. the campus GmbH shall not be liable for any occurring or possibly additional travel costs.

6. Payment and payment conditions
(1) The prices published on the website at www.thecampus.de shall apply.

(2) The seminar price will be dueaccording to the payment rates without any discount. The payment shall be sent using the invoicing number and the customer number to the account listed in the bill for the campus GmbH.

(3) In case the contract partner defaults, the operator may charge a processing fee of € 10.00 for every reminder. The contract partner shall be free to prove that, in terms of the processing fee, no damages have been incurred or they are significantly lower than the operator‘s flat rate damage claims.

7. Seminar contents
(1) The contents of the seminars described on the website shall be covered in so far as it is possible in terms of the participants‘ level of knowledge.

(2) Our trainers may decide in individual cases to adapt the training contents to the needs of the group.

(3) the campus GmbH reserves the right to change instructors and or sites or the program in so far as this does not fundamentally change the aim of the seminar. No entitlement to a specific instructor for the execution of a seminar exists

8. Prerequisites for admission
The seminars of the campus GmbH are open to anyone who meets the prerequisites listed in the seminar description.

9. Certificate
Every participant shall receive a personal certificate of completion at the end of the seminar

10. Seminar documentation
The documentation, software and other media distributed to the participants for learning purposes are protected by copyright. The reproduction, distribution or other use of the distributed materials – also excerpts thereof – is only allowed with explicit written permission by the campus GmbH.

11. Liability
If a seminar is cancelled due to trainer illness, force majeur or other conditions or events beyond the organizer‘s control, no legal claim for a class to be held shall exist. In such an event, the organizer shall not be responsible for reimbursing expenses incurred from travel or overnight stays or lost work time. In general, it shall also apply that the operator is only liable for malice and gross negligence.

12. Severability
Should any of the terms and conditions in this General Terms and Conditions become invalid, the individual conditions in the remaining parts will remain fully intact. For all present and future claims arising from this business agreement between commercial entities, the seat of the court shall be exclusively that of the campus GmbH. Changes and modifications of these General Terms and Conditions require the written form in all cases.
For consumers (private persons) the following instruction on the right of cancellation applies (only for bookings under the Remote Sales Act)
You may cancel your contractual agreement within 14 days without providing the reasons therefore in text form (e.g., letter, fax, email). The term of expiry begins after receiving this notification in text form, however not before the contact has been signed, nor before meeting our obligation to inform pursuant to Article 246 (2) in connection with Art. 1 (1) and (2) EGBGB and also not before meeting our obligations according to Art. 312e(1)(1) BGB in connection with Article 246 (3) EGBGB. To ensure that the cancellation deadline is met, sending the cancellation on time is sufficient.

Consequences of cancellation
In the event of an effective cancellation, the mutually received services are to be returned and, if applicable, a benefit is (e.g., interest) to be granted. If you cannot return the received services in entirety or partially or only in worse condition, then you must insofar provide a value replacement. This can result in the contractual payment obligations for the time period up until the cancellation still being fulfilled.
Obligations to reimburse payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The deadline begins with the sending of your can-cellation notification for you, and for us, with its receipt.

Special notifications
Your right to cancel dissolves prematurely at your explicit request if the contract is mutually fully met before you have exercised your right to cancel. End of the right to cancellation.
